One summer, we embarked on a "Northwest Waterfall Quest." We started up near the Canadian border and made our way south through just about every national forest in the Cascades. Most every evening, we would hike to a waterfall or two. This lovely set of falls is one of many along the Lewis River, specifically Middle Lewis River Falls. After the sun went down, we were the only ones there. I left the cool, blue, evening tones in the image. Taken in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington, USA.
