"Paragliding at Sunset in the Bears Ears National Monument"
In October, I was privileged to spend 5 nights in the new and (unfortunately) short-lived Bears Ears National Monument. One evening, this powered paraglider pilot flew around Battleship Rock as the setting sun peeked from behind the rock formation. Taken in Valley of the Gods, Bears Ears National Monument, Utah, USA.
We spent several days and nights recently on Hopi Tribal Land. It was a dream come true to visit their sacred sites with our Hopi guide, Evelyn Fredericks. This image was taken in a canyon that has very unique white stripes and cross-banding in the red sandstone. It looked like a Native American blanket to me. However, this abstract was formed by nature, not mankind! Taken on the Hopi Reservation, Arizona, USA.
